Interstates all the way to Huntsville, Alabama.
Nothing to say really, I drove the 450 mile trip from New Orleans to Huntsville, which took about seven hours (but I did stop on the way for almost an hour), where I’m spending the night purely as a stopover, and will continue heading back north tomorrow into Tennessee where I’ll again be stopping over.
My trip isn’t quite over, as once in West Virginia on Monday morning, I hope to drive some of the picturesque and rustic back roads, and that will really be the last interesting part of this trip, which has really been a smorgasbord, a taster, of lots of different places, none of which I had time to more fully explore or enjoy. But I’ve enjoyed all the tastes I’ve had.
Today wasn’t like that though. Just a long and boring ride on several interstates.
